Your description of rape as a war weapon is chilling and horrible, but not new. Historically rape have been used that way by invaders. As a way to submit locals. And was applied to children too.

At the end of the day, when you listen to what rapist have to say, the pattern that arises is that they don’t see their victims as people worthy of respect.
