To be fair, they do that to fat, old or unconventionally attractive. The ones deemed ugly by straight men. While, usually, if you are deemed attractiveto straight men, some can come to demand you to show more skin. Even if you don’t feel it. The classical “show us your tits”. Which is, in fact, a form of harashment.

But they don’t want to become the object of that treatment. The men who are fat, old or unconventionally attractive doesn’t want to be judged the same way they judge women. The conventionally attractive men doesn’t want to be harashed the same way that women do.

That men being happy in his body and “flaunting” it, make them uncomfortable because he turn the tables on them. That is why the use expression as “real men”. He is a real men and he is different from the way they have always been told is “natural” for men to behabe. Logical conclusion is that the way they act around women is not natural. It challenges their believes. Just that.

Same way that if a lesbian chose to say she is uninterested in them. Lesbian are acceptable as long as they are seen as wanting to get men’s attention. Which is absurd most of the time, but they chose to believe that anyway. XD

By the way, there is nothing wrong with wanting attention. People have a right to enjoy in a party. And people who complain about others having attention are just boring. Others having attention doesn’t mean you have to do the same. I don’t have facebook or instagram. I rarely take selfies and only do that with friends, because my friends enjoy it and I’m not going to be the one who ruins the party by complaining. But I have no problem with them wanting attention. It is fun for them. Why ruin other’s fun? Because they are afraid of disapproval from people who doesn’t like them anyway? That is sad.

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
