To work as a joke, it should be an exaggeration. The problem is that the bible and history have beat you to it. To sum up, it was a failed attempt.

While you might claim that "it was Adam and Eve", the fact is that the one blamed has always been Eve. There are plenty of church sermons that talk about Eve, but don't mention Adam or if they do, is to tell that he was tricked by Eve. And all women "inherited the sin" and were blamed.

You want to parody leftist, but fail, because what you attempted as parody, have been done in real life: by conservative men.

You claim you reject "group identity" but you subscribe one: white conservative man. While I don't hold you responsible for what other white men did, I do hold you responsible for what you write and what your writing support. There are 2 false premises in your argument:

1. It was the past -->No, discrimination still happen today. And in US and Europe too.

2. I've done nothing/It was not my responsibility --> By denying that it is still happening and saying that it is not fair that people complain, you support that it keeps happening. So you become an enabler and hold responsibility in that.

In a way, you remind me of my late grandfather. I loved him, but he was racist. Sure, he would say that "he didn't hate blacks" but also tell me that "I should never date or marry a black man". And he fancies himself funny when he "joked" about sexist/racist things. My grampa was the product of his time. He felt uncomfortable with social change and with people he used to have power over, no longer putting up with certain things. And whenever I told him something was sexist/racist/homophobic he retorted the classic "It was a joke".

What you are basically saying is "stop whining when you are discriminated and put up with it so I don't feel uncomfortable or change how I behave".

What I'm saying is "your joke has failed" and I'm not going to pretend to laugh just so it won't become awkward. I mean, if it is OK that I have to put up with your "joke" it seems also fair that you put up with my non compliant answer. Free speech for all means that while you can "joke" I can point out how your jokes sound pretty much like whining to me. XD
