Trigger warnings doesn't prevent you from seeing, reading or listening to whatever it has them. They just warn people of certain contents so they can avoid it.
What is the problem? That they would walk away before seeing whatever instead of after? That if they have some kind of post traumatic stress from something awful they can avoid reliving the trauma?
Because at the end of the day, triggers are just information that people can use to decide if they want to spend their time and money on something.
But people shouldn't be forced to see things they don't enjoy, or spend money on things they don't like. Otherwise I have a list of scifi tv shows that have been cancelled due to lack of viewers that you and people like you should support starting by Expanse. XD
I've seen plenty of TV shows and films with trigger warnings. They take the same space where they inform you of things like "the people and places that appear in this movie are not real, blablabla". Yet, for some reason, no one cares if they explain that a "historical" film is not accurate. And takes the same space: a few seconds of text in the screen. Why there is no article about disclaimers? Honestly, if trigger warnings bother you, then you are quite sensitive.
