Alternatively, try apps but not mention work at all in your profile or first dates. Just test compatibility.

I think that defining yourself by your job is not the best way to connect with others. That goes for everyone, men too.

Where I live, many women in their 40s join hicking clubs, sport clubs, art clubs and so on. Men do the same. By going to group activities they get to see if the "click" with someone in the club. And many women in their 40s find boyfriends of similar age there. Of course, you might take into account that some of those men would be divorced and have children so having dates would be secondary to being fathers. But there are nice people there.
