We aren't in a competition. The women who choose to have a career aren't competing or "rubbing things in your face". They are enjoying their lives and celebrating their successes. Also offering example to girls of different ways to live their lives. So they know that they have options.

Ironically, I always had the feeling that many traditional women are angry with the women who didn't follow the traditional path, because they aren't as happy with their lives as we are with ours. And by enjoying our lives, we make them wonder what their lives could have been if they have made different choices. The traditional women who are actually happy with their lives, won't bother critizing career women, since they know that we making that choice, also make the choice easier for the women who want to "marry up". Think about this, less traditional women, means less competition to get the "rich husband" you seem to want. And since there are more traditional men than traditional women now, you should have it easier. It is a win-win. Well, maybe not for traditional men who want tp trade wives for younger versions. XD

And when you grow old, if the "trophy wive" won't work anymore or you change your mind, you'll have alternatives.
