What are reasonable expectations and what are not is something that can change depending on perspective. I've a friend that decided to become a pilot. From our perspective, that was "crazy", because it was a difficult goal to achieve. Yet, he put the work and become a pilot.

Your friends might have high expectations, but they might also be true to themselves in what they want/need. Or they might be influenced by what people tell them they should want. Eventually after going to several dates, they would start figuring out what they really need in a relationship.

And some of them might even surprise you by getting exactly what they thought they deserve. In which case, their supposedly "high expectations" were right for them. Just like my pilot friend, they might be right.

I'm not bothered by your article/comments. I'm expresing my disagreement and giving my perspective. Again, sorry about the spam. I think that if something anoys me is the "We all woman want this". I mean, you like some things, I like other things. But in saying "all women want providers" we are hurting both men and women who doesn't conform to that.
