What is amazing is that you see fault at her for not listening “right”, yet he is not listening at all but is not at fault.

Think about this, she might listen in a way that make him happy and he still won’t be closer to know the things that she is thinking and the problems she faces. The fact is that while he gets to talk about the things that bother him and she tries to comfort him, she doesn’t get to talk or be comforted on any way. Not only that, men like you consider her selfish because she expect the same support she is offering.

And of course we are expected to not consider that a double standard. Right.

I could write a book and there would still be men like you that consider women selfish for wanted equal treatment and lash out whenever we speak up. And that is why some women don’t tell the things that bother them. Way to illustrate the point of the story. XD
