While I agree that he should apologize, I don't think it would happen. His act was filled with sexist insults (not just for Jada). And his insults were approved by the producers unlike the joke about Alec Baldwin who was rejected/censured.

The problem is not just Chris, it was the whole Oscar production who approved the insult. I refuse to call it a joke because it wasn't and the reason they called it a "joke" is to get away with it and be able to say that women are "too sensitive" instead of admitting that they "get their kicks" by insulting women.

I wish that all women skipped the oscars as a protest. Not just black women, but all women. Specially the actress. Let them have one year with not a single woman attending. No comments on best dresses, no red carpet, nothing.

And then post on social media about other exciting things they do on that day. So Oscars fall into the irrelevance.

Of course, that won't happen. But it is what they deserve.

As for Chris, if he doesn't apologize, he deserves to fade into obscurity. There are plenty of talented people who take his place.

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
