Working class has the same needs, they just can't afford it. House, health and retirement are basics in Europe. Everyone needs and deserve it.
Now, the thing is that if you look at rent distribution, all the things that you list are only possible for the top 20% of income earners.
If you want a middle class, you need to make basic needs affordable for most of the population. Only then you can talk about middle class.
But you are right that middle class have been disappearing and that allowing more inequality on rent distribution has make things worse for everyone.
But here the problem is not taxes on average rents, but allowing rich people deductions that means that they end apaying less than you. Why do you think that Trump didn't wanted to release his taxes to the press? Because he paid less than you. And I'm using Trump as an example because he is famous, but I'm sure that Bezos and Musk are the same. That is the real unfairness.
