Writing is just a hobbie. Many nerds like me do that. I don't think that makes me a blogger in the same way I don't see myself as a writer. But still is irrelevant if I'm a blogger or not for the validity of my points.
The Rock, who you think has no charisma, happens to be on many blockbusters that made lots of money. Johnny's style, got him a perfume promotion or something like that.
You said that Johnny's career was on freefall because he wasn't getting roles at blockbusters, only indie movies. Then, when I pointed out that those indie movies did bad at the box office, you said that "he made those indie movies because he wanted". There, in your own words have the reason he is not getting blockmuster roles. He chosed to do indie movies that did bad at the box office. So his filmography (similar to a CV for an actor) made him a bad fit for blockbusters (he has less experience at that than the Rock or other actors that have been doing those roles). It was his career choices.
Now you try to distort my words about the sun. The sun won the trial. The sun published he was an abuser, Johnny sued for defamation and the sun proved that what they have published was true. You might not like that the sun and their paparazzi have proof of that, but the fact is that whatever incident they published was proved to be true. Otherwise, they would have lost and would have to paid money to Johnny (which have happened with other people). Sorry, but your claim that the pictures were facked was already discarded at the London trial.
Yet, I haven't been talking about Johnny being an abuser. You brought up that. I was just talking about his career. And it is not true that I've said all his films were bad. I even pointed out some of the good ones. His problem is that is been a long time since those films. It is been a long time since Sleepy Hollow or scisorhands. It's even been a long time since Sweeny tooth.
The Op-ed is relatively recent. Since the Op-ed can't influence the past, and we do know that before meeting Amber he was already strungling to get certain roles, well, my take is that it wasn't the Op-ed that many people in Europe didn't even read and wouldn't even be aware of if he didn't went to trial.
Hell, we do know that Hollywood always forgive these acusations. They did forgive Woody Allen. They did forget Christian Bale who also was acussed of abuse (he is the villain in one of marvel's movies), they obviously love Robert Downey even if he has a past with substance abuse. And we could go on with actors who were acused of thing but retained good careers.
So if Johnny career was on freefall before Amber and unlike all those other directors and actor remains without roles, logic says that his career problems have more to do with his more recent filmography than whatever Amber said.
By the way, I'm a master of manipulation? What I have manipulated? IMDB data? Box office data? Have I susbtituted the clips on your tube where Johnny plays Grindewald? Have I manipulated other people into not liking Caribbean Pirates 4th and 5th with a meager 200 followers? Think again. the power of my arguments is that I'm pointing out things that people can easily see for themselves. They do have criteria to know if they liked Caribean Pirates 4th and 5th. They do know if they liked him as Grindewald. And they do know if they would prefer DiCaprio or Brad Pitt or Johnny at the next block buster.
Disney never releases films of franchises they own at the same time. They don't make Star wars and Marvel compete, they won't make pirates compete with those two or Indiana Jones. Their stimations for those franchises are higher than the ones they have for pirates. Not even talking about Margot Robbie gathered enough interest. Sure, they still want to make money with pirates, but they won't release pirates until they expect to make more money from that, than they would make from the others. It is basic logic. And if you consider that applying logic is manipulation, then you have a problem.
Again, people doesn't need to believe me, they can look at that information themselves and reach their own conclusions.
