You can easily find more examples by using google. The fact that women's inventions are useful also for men doesn't mean that haven't helped ourselves.
As it happens, computing was mostly women:

You can also have googled this yourself, by the way.
Only when it became well paid, did men show interest.
Now, maybe, before making assertions like this, you might want to take a look at this:

Or even, you know, google about what women have done before saying that we haven't done things to improve our participation in society.
Although it could be said that what has improved most women's participation in society is the things that we have stopped doing. Sometimes the first step to participating in society is to have free time.
You can keep ignoring women's contributions. That is on you. But other people won't, especially the women that you want to persuade. And your minimizing of women's participation and inventions is a message in itself.
In a way, it reminds me of those conservative men who claim again and again that traditional women are well respected, yet, when you sit at the table, you can clearly see the different treatment mothers get from fathers. And it is clear that they held no power and are always seconds when not last. We see that. And there are no amount of words that would erase what we see. For example, men never talk about what they owe to women. Curious, isn't it?
