You have and that is the point, you didn't remained single. But many of the man who remain single and complain about that, won't date "plain Janes". So they say, "I'm always rejected!", but when asked to have a date with xxxx who doesn't fit their criteria, they would refuse (as is their right and OK for them). The problem is not that they refuse to date, but that they don't acknowledge that they made that choice to be single.
