You said that they are "very moral" but I might disagree with you. I mean, acording to their morals (which might be different than mine) is it ok that man forces himself into a woman?"

If the answer is yes, then we don't share morals and I would said that their morals are bad for women's survival and safety.

If the answer is no, then they aren't as moral as they like to think, since they are supporting a person who would make that socially acceptable (even if remains illegal) and therefore more common. Also bad for women's survival and safety.

I mean, if someone kills babies in front of you, would you call yourself moral if after that, you invited that person for dinner? You might claim that you yourself aren't killing babies, but moral people would go one step ahead and denounce, want nothing to do with that person, etc. This is similar. If you are against rape, the moral expectation is to not want to be associated with rapist and not appoint them to positions of power where they would have it easier to rape again... You can still choose your economy over that, but then be honest, for you morals are secondary to money. That or your morals put money above everything else.

Either way, they are bad for their daughters survival, dealing with trauma and safety. I do understand why she has moved. Feeling disapointed by a parent like that is very hard.

Fiction is the art to tell lies to show truths. Politics is the art to use truths to tell lies.
